  • We maintain strict confidentiality boundaries, even when your abuser attempts to contact us
  • All team members with data access sign confidentiality agreements

Initial Contact (WhatsApp)

A secure channel available for scheduling and quick communications.

What's Protected:

What's NOT Protected:

  • !Metadata (who you contact, when, how often)
  • !Cloud backups (may not be encrypted)

Survivor Safety Recommendations:

  • Disable cloud backup for WhatsApp (Settings → Chats → Chat Backup → Off)
  • Enable disappearing messages for our conversation if needed
  • Use a safe device your abuser cannot access
  • Consider a separate phone/number if your primary device is monitored
  • Delete chat history after each conversation if device safety is a concern

Document Storage (Google Drive)

Used for secure document sharing and collaboration.

  • Security: SOC 1/2/3 certified, ISO 27001, AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS in transit
  • Our practice: Dedicated private folders per client, 2FA required, restricted access
  • Retention: Files retained 90 days after engagement ends, then permanently deleted (or upon request)

Video Consultations (Google Meet)

Used for live video consultation sessions.

  • Security: End-to-end encrypted video calls, SOC 1/2/3 certified infrastructure
  • Recording consent: Verbal consent requested at start of each session; you may decline with no impact on service
  • Retention: Recordings stored in your private folder, deleted within 30 days of engagement completion

Meeting Transcription (AI-Powered)

Session recordings may be transcribed for your records.

  • Purpose: Accurate records of discussions, reference for advice given, pattern identification
  • Your control: Opt out of transcription while still permitting recording; request deletion anytime
  • Security: SOC 2 compliant services, audio not retained after processing

Audio File Transcription (ElevenLabs)

Used to transcribe audio files you provide (voicemails, recorded calls, etc.).

  • Your consent: You must explicitly authorize each audio file submitted for transcription
  • Security: Enterprise-grade security, TLS 1.2+ encrypted connections
  • Retention: Audio deleted from ElevenLabs immediately after transcription; transcripts in your folder only

Your abuser may have accessed your accounts, monitored your communications, or weaponized your personal information against you. We take this seriously.
